This project consists of turning 204 hotel rooms in the old Holiday Inn Hotel downtown, which as sat empty since 2016, into 204 efficiency studio apartments. The derelict building is being gutted completely and will receive modern bathrooms and kitchenettes. The project’s name, The Pulse, was derived by the concept of ‘bringing another heartbeat to the city.’” The size of the studio apartments are 316 square feet. Amenities include a clubhouse, indoor sports courts, a fitness center, a business center and shared office space, a pool, barbecue areas, a dog park and pet grooming, bicycle storage, a laundry facility, a media room and an events area. The two ground-floor spaces will be available for retail, restaurant/bar businesses to serve the residents and the public. This project is under construction, and is slated to complete by the end of this year.
