METRO TECHNOLOGY CENTERS

QUAD Construction started working on the Metro Technology Centers $80 million dollar bond in 2019 and recently finished in 2024. This bond was particularly challenging, as it was planned pre-pandemic, yet still had to execute and deliver all the programming objectives during the pandemic (and after cost escalation/inflation started to occur). The technology centers span two campuses: Springlake and South Bryant. The majority of our bond work at the Springlake campus was comprised of renovation work, including the Business Conference Center, which had a 4 phased renovation. The South Bryant campus also had renovation work such as the ATC, but was mostly new construction.
